New York Fashion Week F/W 2014 Review!

New York Fashion Week is Officially Behind Us & It Was Definitely A Successful One even though Mother Nature really tested our ability to fully enjoy it! From Thursday, February 6th to Thursday, February 13th, Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week Invaded New York in the Most Fabulous Way, as usual. I had the please to cover many shows ans events & Here, I will tell you my experience!

I had the pleasure to be invited to and attend Lee Jean Youn Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Runway Show Thursday, February 7th and It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Arriving Right On Time, I was escorted to my seat right literally 5 minutes before the show began because I fraternized in the Pavillion for a bit. As I settled in my seat, I took in the fact that I was literally in Lincoln Center, In the Pavillion, at New York Fashion Week! I have been a Midtown resident for the past 13 years, living 5 minutes from Lincoln Center before NYFW relocated there & Time Warner Center even existed so THIS was a big deal for me. I spotted Ms Jackson, Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s Fiancee and my eye caught the Eyewear Designer Stevie Boi due to the Bright Colors and Bold Clothing him and his crew was wearing. The Music, The Setting and The Atmosphere was absolutely riveting, the actual designs? Well, See for yourself...

Uneven, Mix- Matching, Face Covering, Articles of Clothing Had me in Awe as these Beautiful Tall Models all looked flawless in every design... All Races & Ethnicities, might I add. The More eclectic the look, the more I was drawn to it.

BCBG Max Azria Debuted it's F/W Collection Thursday February 6th & I Absolutely Fell In Love with Way Too Many Pieces..
Take a Look at this Collection's Big Furs, Bold Prints, Dark Colors and OverSized Pieces!

Jerrick Gray's Autumn/Winter NYFW Runway Show was entertaining, interesting and some pieces were nice. It wasn't the traditional runway and it was a Presentation of the beautiful models, dressed in his designs! Not really a collection that was in-sync, but was mixed with Velour and Cotton Dresses, Red Leather Pants, Vests & Long Sleeve Turtlenecks... I personally like collections of pieces that compliment eachother instead of too over the place (My Opinion). Overall, I enjoyed the presentation & would wear a piece or two. Take a look...

It was an absolute HONOR to attend Betsey Johnson's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Runway Presentation. Growing up in New York in Fashion, Everyone Knows Betsey Puts on a SHOW, AN EVENT, AN EXTRAGANZA. It's one not to be missed, sooo for THIS to be my 1st, I was absolutely elated. Of course, she didn't cease to amaze me! Amazing Prints, Colors, and Craziness graced the runway while models of all races worn them beautifully!
Take a look...
