Many of you may not know that I am a FOODIE! I've dined at over 100 restaurants here in Manhattan ALONE. Living in the city, it's difficult to ignore the pretty decor, fancy meals and delicious-looking menus on your daily walks to work. I have experienced many restaurants, some great and some horrible. I've also had the pleasure of working at many of these place and meeting wonderful people in my days of working as a Maitre'D in, anywhere between, Six and Eight high-rated and popular restaurants in the middle of Midtown, Manhattan. I've decided to start blogging my experiences and thoughts in the food industry naming the category: #HeavenlyFood Posts! Sessanta, NYC: In May, Jason Pomeranc, co-owner of SIXTY Hotels will join John McDonald and Steven Eckler of Mercer Street Hospitality, to open Sessanta at SIXTY Hotel in SoHo. In charge of the Kitchen and Italian/Sicilian Cuisine will be Chef Jordan Frosolone. SIXTY SoHo Hotel, 60 Thompson St.


Chevalier, NYC: Recently opened Baccarat Hotel in Midtown will premiere Chevalier in April with the works of chef Shea Gallante and legendary Charles Masson. The soon to be open restaurant will be named after Baccarat creative director George Chevalier and will offer luxe French Brasserie-inspired cuisine and decor. 20 W. 53rd St.


Rebelle, NYC: Patrick Cappiello, Mr. McRill, Alessandro Zampedri, co-owners of Pearl & Ash, will open Rebelle with chef Daniel Eddy and Andrea Venturelli this spring in the former R Bar space, next to Pearl & Ash. 218 Bowery
